The mission of Alive Campaign is to promote awareness for suicide prevention and depression through progressive ideas and actions; to include charity, educating the public, and combining both national and international resources in a unified effort to prevent suicide. Finally to open a forum and build a community on which discussion can occur on the issues of suicide and depression.

 

Suicide is the 3rd leading cause of death for 15 to 24-year-old Americans.

Welcome to the official Alive Campaign website. We are a grassroots suicide prevention group with an optimistic and down to earth approach to one of our last "taboo" subjects. Feel free to look at the story of how the group was created, talk in our discussion boards, send e-mails, and be apart of a unique community for dealing with the issue of suicide and how to prevent it. In a nutshell we think the only limits in life are those placed on ourselves and that we all need to get out there and find what we love and do it!   • Baylor University Student Services will host an Alive Campaign Awareness Rally and Send Off Celebration on Thursday, May l5, 2008 at 10 am. We will be departing from the Student Life Center on Baylor campus. After a brief rally , we will launch the Memorial Balloons and head out on our first leg of the journey, stopping in Gatesville, Texas for the night - 4l miles. If you wish to join us,be there at 9:30 am. We appreciate your prayers, best wishes and continued support. Keep Hope Alive!
